Lilla Björn Crochet (Tatsiana)

Tatsiana
Hello! My name is Tatsiana. I am the designer of crocheted home accessories and toys behind Lilla Björn Crochet. “Lilla Björn” means “little bear” in Swedish. I am not from Sweden, but I love cold and grey sea, fresh windy air, and I like to crochet little bears. I enjoy creating new things, combining colours and drawing with yarn. I mostly enjoy the process of creating and often become “indifferent” when the project is finished. It’s a shame but I have dozens of “almost finished” sweaters and shawls waiting for their new life. I can spend hours learning new techniques, and overlay crochet is my beloved at the moment. It is amazing that you can actually recreate everything in crochet using this technique! Please, check my work, designs and free patterns on my blog: www.lillabjorncrochet.com.

  • The original Sophie’s Universe Blanket was created in 2015 with our Cotton 8, Stone Washed XL and Softfun yarn.

To make this anniversary event extra festive, Dedri asked two of her friends (Scheepjes very own Creative Director Simy and Lila Bjorn Crochet) to design two extra colourways and created a third herself using the Small Ubuntu kit from her popular Scheepjes Ubuntu CAL! Her friends’ new colourways are made with our Metropolis and Bamboo Soft yarns, giving the blanket a whole new look and feel.

Scheepjes Furry Tales Baby Bear

Baby bear 4

Baby Bear of Furry Tales was designed exclusively for the release of Scheepjes Furry Tale yarn.

A “classical” soft bear, as we all know them, Baby Bear of Furry Tales is even softer. I loved making it. And I’ll make many more in the future!

Materials:

~ Scheepjes Stone Washed: 831 Axinite x 1 ball
~ Scheepjes Furry Tales: 973 Baby Bear x 3 balls
~ 3.5mm and 4mm crochet hooks
~ A pair of safety eyes, leftovers of cotton yarn for the face embroidery, leftovers of yarn for the striped scarf, yarn needle to put the Baby Bear together.

Finished size: approx. 40cm

Gauge is not critical for this pattern.
