Big in Japan sweater is the sleeve version of the shirt Big in Japan.
You can find the pattern by Katrin Schneider on and order it with your kit.
The used combination of ITO Kinu and ITO Sensai is adorable, the sweater fluffy and light like a cloud.
The oversized boxy sweater is started by knitting the back from top down to the base of the armhole. The shoulder part is shaped using short rows. Then, both fronts are knitted separately from the top down to the base of the neckline, working increases for the boat neck at the same time. After joining both fronts and working them down to the base of the armhole, back and fronts are then joined for working in the round straight to the hem.
For the neck finishing, stitches are picked up along the neck, and a small neck band is worked.
For the sleeves, stitches are picked up along the armhole and the sleeves are worked top down to the cuffs.

“Doppio” is an asymmetrical shawl with an unusual shape.
The first section, knit in garter stitch, is followed by a second section in which a second yarn is introduced in a striped pattern. The shawl is completed by a third section in a lace stitch to create visual impact.
The shawl is finished with I-cord borders for a tailored look.
You start knitting from the narrow tip of the shawl, so it can be made as long or as short as you want, depending on how much yarn you have!
Finished measurements:

The sweater is worked seamlessly in rounds in one piece from the top-down. After the collar is worked, the colorwork-yoke is shaped by increases for body and sleeves, and additional radial increases up to the sleeve separation. The sleeve stitches are then placed on hold, underarm stitches are cast on, and you continue to work the body with some side-pleats at chest height onwards to the bottom ribbing.
After the body is completed with color blocks, sleeve stitches are placed back on the needles to be worked top-down in the round.

Purple Coke Sweater is the sleeve version of the shirt Purple Coke.
I also added a collar and long ribbed cuffs to the sweater. The instructions for both can be left out to get the same look as the Purple Coke shirt.
The used combination of ITO Urugami and ITO Sensai is just perfect for spring, the sweater is warm, very soft and incredibly light.
The slightly oversized and cropped raglan pullover is worked in rounds from the top down. Then the sleeves are worked in the round and finished with ribbed cuffs.

One of my most beloved patterns is half fisherman’s rib. In this sweater, I turned the wrong side out and added two more patterns.
The result is a very casual sweater for everyone!
In the design, I have used the different textures of the patterns in connection with the stripes. It is recommended to knit a sample with all 3 patterns and vary the needle size if necessary.

The ULLA shirt is a simple pullover worked in brioche stitch, featuring a boat neckline, slightly shortened sleeves, and a straight, short, cut. The design is inspired by 60s style shirts.
This model is worked top-down in one piece, by initially casting on the stitches for the entire back as well as the sleeves. The neckline and shoulders are then shaped with short rows and then worked straight down to the armholes.
The front part is worked (almost) in the opposite direction. You will then knit the bottom of the sleeves together, and finish working the body in rounds. No sewing is necessary. Finally, and depending on your preference, you can either crochet around the neckline to tighten the fit or use an elastic bind-off technique.
These 14-page detailed instructions contain step-by-step descriptions. You will also find a technical sketch for marking off the wrapping/turning stitches for the short rows at front and back. Some of the knitting techniques are shown with the help of videos. These are not part of this pattern, but you will find a collection of links to these and other techniques in this pattern under “knitting techniques”.
